What is Teletherapy?

Teletherapy includes mental health services that are provided via online live video conferencing through platforms such as Skype or Zoom.

These sessions can also be used to review and explain IEPs, BIPs, assessments, and accommodations.

Individual Therapy (Adults): These 50-minute sessions are designed to identify current concerns, assess and diagnose if needed, as well as set clear, meetable goals, and train healthy coping skills.  In-session training including modeling and rehearsal as well as handouts for daily practice of new skills are used as part of CBT. Sessions are typically weekly or bimonthly for a total of 4-6 sessions with monthly follow-ups in needed.

Parent/Child Therapy: These 50-minute sessions are designed to not only educate parents/caregivers to better understand their child's challenges or diagnosis but also to teach parents how to apply strategies used in session to their daily lives to promote long-lasting effects and maintain the use of healthy coping skills for all family members.  Dr. Rebecca first meets with a parents/caregiver, followed by individual time with the child working on specific copings skills, and ending with a review of the session and handouts for daily practice. Sessions are typically weekly or bimonthly for a total of 4-6 sessions with monthly follow-ups in needed.
